Behind every international programme are the people who bring knowledge, experience and different perspectives into the room.

As we move closer to the 𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, we are pleased to begin introducing some of the experts who will join us in the 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Prof. Shin is 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗛 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 and 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮.

He also serves as a 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝗪𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠), further reflecting his international engagement in advancing disaster and emergency medicine.

A 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗠𝗖 and 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, his work connects clinical expertise with preparedness for conventional and CBRNe disasters, counter-terrorism medicine and innovative approaches to simulation and immersive tabletop training.
