CEMEC and the Local Health Authority of Rieti have officially joined forces by signing an agreement based on a shared commitment to protecting lives, strengthening health systems, and ensuring that no one faces an emergency unprepared.This collaboration unites doctors, nurses, civil protection volunteers, researchers, and responders who are ready to learn, grow, train, and support one another across borders and disciplines.
The focus is on advancing training and education, promoting research and innovation in disaster medicine, and encouraging the exchange of ideas, skills, and real-life experiences.
This new partnership carries special meaning, because Rieti is not just a place. It’s the beating heart of Italy’s CBRN preparedness, home to the Join Military School for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defence, a national hub for specialized training and response.
