ANew Alliance for Emergency Care in San Marino

We are pleased to announce the signing of a collaboration agreement between CEMEC – European Centre for Disaster Medicine and the newly formed Sammarinese Emergency-Urgency Group (GEUS), a non-profit scientific association established at the heart of the Republic of San Marino's healthcare system.Led by Dr. Alessandro Valentino, Director of the Emergency Department at the State Hospital, GEUS brings together doctors, nurses, drivers-rescuers, and 118 emergency call operators – and opens its doors to all professionals involved in the emergency sector.
CEMEC and GEUS share a common vision: to increase scientific knowledge, strengthen professional training, and increasingly engage the public through courses, events, meetings, and opportunities for discussion.
This collaboration stems from a desire to team up, create value, and improve the service we offer our citizens every day.
This is an important step for the future of emergency care in San Marino, strengthening the spirit of cooperation, understanding, and dedication that has always guided CEMEC's efforts.
