CBRNe risk is evolving — and so is the way we need to prepare for it.

Airports and aviation infrastructures are environments in which unconventional risk takes on particular characteristics and requires specialized skills, operational preparation, and close collaboration between different institutions.It is on this ground that, over the years, we have built a solid relationship with the 3rd Wing of the Italian Air Force, developed around a specific technical and operational theme: the management of unconventional risk in the aeronautical environment.
A process of discussion, exchange of expertise, and attention to the practical aspects of training, which over time has consolidated an institutional relationship based on mutual trust and continuity.
The changeover ceremony of command of the 3rd Wing, in Villafranca di Verona, was a new opportunity to meet and look forward. In the presence of Gen. Massimo Cicerone, Col. AAran Francesco Russo handed over command to Col. AAran Mauro Manti.
To Col. Russo, our sincere thanks for the attention and availability shown during his command, along with our best wishes for his continued professional career.
To Col. Manti, we wish him all the best in his new role, and we firmly believe that the relationship he has built with the 3rd Wing will continue to develop through new opportunities for discussion and collaboration.
Because, especially when faced with complex risks, preparation never comes from a single skill or institution.
