CEMEC and INMM Africa Join Forces for a Safer FutureSome partnerships are built on shared values. Others on shared urgency. This one, between CEMEC and the Institute of Nuclear Material Management - African Chapter, is built on both.
A new Memorandum of Understanding brings together two distinct but deeply connected fields: disaster medicine and the management of nuclear and radioactive materials. At their core, both are about safeguarding lives, strengthening resilience, and preparing systems and people to face the unexpected.
The collaboration opens new routes for joint research, training, capacity building, and public outreach, across disciplines and across continents. It reflects a shared belief that global challenges demand collective solutions, and that cooperation is our strongest tool for prevention and preparedness.
