CEMEC had the pleasure of participating as a Speaker in the Disaster Preparedness and Response Leadership Course, organized by the Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies (CETE) at the Aga Khan University, in collaboration with the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH).
This remarkable one-year programme equips professionals with the knowledge and confidence to manage crises and protect communities, and we were honored to present a dedicated lecture on “Strategic Management of CBRNe Incidents: Safeguarding Public Health in Large-Scale Emergencies.”
A crucial topic in a world where chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks, once rare and remote, are now very real components of modern emergency planning and public health protection.
The CETE course is a remarkable initiative that brings together professionals committed to strengthening crisis leadership. Featuring hybrid learning, simulations, continuous evaluation, and guided assignments, it empowers health practitioners and emergency managers to build robust preparedness plans, respond effectively under pressure, protect communities during disasters, and lead with confidence.
