Emergency Management Training: CEMEC's September 2026 training series continues.
San Marino - State Hospital, September 2026
CEMEC's September 2026 training cycle continued with a session for physicians and nurses. It focused on the response to cardiac arrest in the critical first minutes. The session was conducted under the supervision of Italian Resuscitation Council (IRC) instructors. Participants practised life-saving procedures in simulated scenarios that reproduced a wide range of environmental conditions. This approach reflects operational reality: emergencies seldom occur in controlled settings. An effective response therefore requires both technical accuracy and the capacity to assess, adapt and act under pressure.
The session comprised five hours of intensive practical training. Throughout, participants repeatedly rehearsed resuscitation manoeuvres, the use of the defibrillator and team coordination until each step became automatic. For healthcare professionals, these skills represent a core competence that must be maintained, verified and updated over time.
We extend our thanks to the IRC instructors for their expertise and to all participants for their commitment. CEMEC's training activities will continue in the coming weeks, in line with a clear objective: strengthening preparedness, one trained professional at a time.
