EMS, People, and the Power of Shared Experience
Abu Dhabi, UAE 25/27 Novembre 2025
Being at the ADIEMS Conference as a speaker and panel member, and seeing CEMEC actively engaged throughout the conference, was really important. This because of the scale of the event, and the depth of the conversations around pre-hospital care, preparedness, and real-world operational challenges.Across sessions, panels, and workshops, one message resonated clearly: strengthening EMS systems starts with people, their skills, their values, their ability to work together under pressure. Technology matters, but it is experience, training, and shared understanding that truly make the difference in the field.
Contributing to these discussions, sharing CEMEC’s experience in disaster medicine and complex operational environments, and learning from colleagues working daily on the front lines across different contexts, reminded me why these moments matter so much. They build trust, common language, and practical bridges between systems and professionals.
This conference reinforced something we deeply believe in at CEMEC: preparedness grows where training, practice, and strategic vision meet, and where professionals are given space to exchange, challenge ideas, and raise together.
Grateful to the organizers, fellow speakers, and the many EMS professionals who brought energy, openness, and passion to this experience. This is how progress in emergency medical care truly happens.
