What does it really take to transfer a critically ill patient during a disaster? We had the chance to explore that question firsthand during the Advanced Critical Care Transfer Training, a standout event within the International Disaster Medicine Program, delivered in partnership with the UAE’s Readiness Medical Preparedness and Response program.
CEMEC was proud to be actively involved as a key partner in this vital initiative. It was, in fact, a high-intensity, real-world simulation that challenged participants to think fast, lead under pressure, and coordinate across medical and operational boundaries. From patient stabilization to the complexities of transport, every moment focused on ensuring readiness in the chaos of disaster scenarios.
We watched healthcare professionals grow stronger as a team, sharpen their critical care skills, and reaffirm their commitment to saving lives under the most demanding conditions.
A heartfelt thank you to all who made this training a success. We look forward to the next mission, the next lesson, and the next opportunity to build resilience together.
