Imagine an ordinary day turning into a scene where dozens need urgent care at once. That’s when the principles of Mass Casualty Incident management move from theory to reality.
In this new edition of the Basic MCI course, participants from emergency services, hospitals, and support agencies joined forces to train for exactly those moments. They came together, knowing the triage tags and resource lists, working side by side, making quick but critical decisions, and finding order in the middle of chaos.
With realistic drills, honest debriefs, and open exchange, CEMEC stayed close to the action, helping shape scenarios, support teamwork, and keep the focus on what matters most: saving lives and protecting responders.
