We’ve just wrapped a new edition of the Advanced Hospital Incident Command System course, where nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and administrative leads came together. different badges, same purpose. We tackled real-world challenges: incomplete information, crowded communications, and difficult trade-offs, beyond what any checklist can cover.
As partners, CEMEC stayed hands-on: building scenarios, coaching huddles, and debriefing what went right (and what we’d do differently next time). Every session reminded us that preparedness is really about relationships, clarity, and calm under pressure.
