San Marino Digital Security Forum 2026 — CEMEC among the key players
San Marino, February 20, 2026
The “San Marino Digital Security Forum 2026 — Innovation and Digital Security for a Resilient Future,” organized by the Global Crisis Group, was held at the Kursaal Congress Center.
A morning of high-level discussion on crucial issues for contemporary security: protecting critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, countering hybrid threats, and digital security governance.
CEMEC attended, actively contributed to the proceedings, and had the honor of moderating the Public Policies and Digital Security Panel, which focused on governance, political accountability, and institutional stability.
The Center's presence in this context is no coincidence. Disaster medicine and healthcare security are now deeply intertwined with the digital dimension: hospitals are critical infrastructure, healthcare systems are increasingly targeted by cyberattacks, and emergency management now depends on resilient networks, data, and technologies. Protecting public health also means protecting the digital infrastructures that support it.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for the invitation and for creating a space for quality dialogue between institutions, academia, and industry.
Continuing to build bridges between disciplines, institutions, and countries is the right path to building authentic resilience—health, digital, and institutional.
