Shaping Resilience and Sustainability: Highlights from the Summer School 2025
Salerno, June 20/25, 2025
CEMEC was proud to take an active role in the fourth edition of the CeRVEnE Summer School, which has just successfully concluded.
Participants, experts, and institutions came together for six intense days of dialogue, learning, and collaboration on some of today’s most urgent global challenges.
This edition offered a unique journey into the interconnected worlds of sustainability, One Health, international cooperation, and emergency preparedness. Through a rich program of lectures and discussions, the event explored how traditional knowledge can merge with innovation and global strategies to address climate change, food security, disaster risk management, and health resilience.
With 38 years of international activity, CEMEC contributed its experience in disaster medicine, resilience-building, and global health security, helping create a vibrant space where knowledge met practice, new ideas emerged, and lasting collaborations were forged.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Raffaele Bove, and to all the organizers, speakers, and participants whose passion and dedication made this edition such an outstanding success.
