When Preparedness Becomes a Collective Commitment

What happens when volunteers, professionals, and institutions from across Europe come together? You get something far greater than a training drill; you witness real collaboration in action.CEMEC was proud to be actively involved in a full-scale search and rescue exercise, working alongside the Civil Protection volunteers of San Marino, CISOM, the Italian Relief Corps of the Order of Malta, the Directors of the Council of Europe’s Specialized Centres on Major Risks, Permanent Representatives, and a wide network of experts in emergency and risk management.
From setting up the base camp to conducting search operations along the San Marino river using ground teams, drones, and rescue dogs, the two-day simulation was a clear demonstration of teamwork, commitment, and trust.
To everyone who showed up, shared their experience, and stood shoulder to shoulder, thank you. Today, we are shaping the best possible response to emergencies and disasters.
