Focus on AI and Security at IAEA’s Meeting

The Twelfth Meeting of the Working Group on Radioactive Material Security, hosted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, has brought together global experts to enhance the security of radioactive materials. At this gathering, the European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) led a breakout session on Computer Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
 
CEMEC, with international colleagues, spearheaded an engaging round table discussion addressing the intersection of AI and computer security. The session provided a platform for experts and participants to explore vital questions, such as the integration of computer security into regulatory oversight and the use of Artificial Intelligence.
