Agreement between Cemec and the IBF Foundation: San Marino, 18 May 2023

Cemec will host undergraduates and master students for training internships and voluntary activities from all over the world

The press conference for the presentation of the agreement signed between Cemec of San Marino and the IBF Foundation of Brussels was held, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Health, Roberto Ciavatta and the Director General of the Institute for Social Security, Francesco Bevere.

The Cemec " European Center for Disaster Medicine" , operating in San Marino since 1987 and for over thirty-five years engaged in training health personnel, law enforcement, civil protection, volunteers, rescuers and operators of the entities involved in the management of emergencies and disasters , has made itself available to welcome interns from all over the world to join its activities.

The IBF Foundation " Generating Perspectives ", a non-profit organization based in Brussels in Belgium and created in 2018 by the consultancy firm IBF International Consulting which boasts forty years of experience in development cooperation, supports the training of students and young experts, European and other countries, through internship programs in cooperation projects
The trainees will therefore have the opportunity to attend, for a period ranging from three months to a year, initiatives in line with their skills and their studies.

The potential value of the presence of young resources, above all from abroad, as support for the Centre's research, training and dissemination initiatives, will certainly be considerable.

The Cemec President Prof. Roberto Mugavero and the IBF Foundation Director Dr. Simona Comin thank the Ministry of Health and the Institute for Social Security, as important institutional partners who have made it possible to reach a positive agreement between the two entities.
