IntroductionIn the current global context, in which the risks linked to natural and anthropogenic disasters are increasingly present, an evolved approach to Disaster Medicine is essential. The Workshop "Horizons of Disaster Medicine: State of the Art and Innovative Futures in Resilience" aims to examine the most advanced strategies to address the medical impacts of emergencies, as well as to look towards future challenges and innovations.
General objectives
The primary objective of this workshop is to provide an in-depth overview of current practices and cutting-edge technologies in Disaster Medicine. Industry experts will share their experiences, opening a debate on how to integrate state-of-the-art solutions to improve the management of health crises. In parallel, the future directions of the discipline will be explored, ranging from applications of artificial intelligence to the design of advance action plans
