CEMEC Joins the Space and Global Health Network

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine is thrilled to share that it has been officially welcomed into the SGH - Space and Global Health Network.

Established in 2022, the SGH Network emerged from the work of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) STSC Working Group on Space and Global Health. This initiative also produced key recommendations, formalized in the United Nations General Assembly Resolution A/RES/77/120, adopted on December 12, 2022.

The network fosters collaboration between space technology and global health, bringing together governments, international organizations, and experts acting as a global hub for innovation, partnership, and new solutions.

CEMEC is honored to contribute to this original initiative, strengthening links between space and health for a safer and healthier world.
