We’re really happy to have joined the opening of the Global Early Warnings for All Multi-Stakeholder Forum in Geneva, where CEMEC is actively taking part alongside so many passionate and committed partners.Co-led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), this event marks a powerful step forward. The goal? To make sure that everyone, everywhere is protected by effective early warning systems for disasters, no matter who they are or where they live.
It was exciting to connect with colleagues from around the world, exchange ideas, and learn from real experiences. The Forum is all about sharing, listening, collaborating, and building something that truly saves lives. We believe in early warnings that work for all. That’s why we’re here, contributing, learning, and doing our part to help close the gaps.
As the UN Secretary-General said: "Early warning systems work. They must work for everyone." And we couldn’t agree more.
