Operational expertise, shared vision, and strategic synergy
Rome Military School of Health and Veterinary Medicine March 12, 2025
CEMEC had the pleasure of meeting with Brigadier General Alfonso Giordano, Commander of the Italian Military School of Health and Veterinary Medicine — a national centre of excellence for operational medical training across all branches of the Armed Forces.Located in the Military City of Cecchignola in Rome, Italy, the School has been a cornerstone of military health training for over two decades, offering advanced educational programs in operational medicine, health logistics, and emergency response in high-risk environments.
The meeting opened the door to multiple opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration, aimed at enhancing dialogue between military and civilian sectors, and promoting applied training methodologies, already field-tested in real scenarios, that hold great potential for transfer into civil protection and mass emergency response systems.
The exchange of perspectives confirmed a mutual commitment to building integrated training models capable of strengthening health system resilience and public safety.
A sincere thank you to the School’s Commander for the warm welcome and the high-level discussion. We are excited to turn this synergy into concrete action.
