WADEM 2025 is behind us, but the energy, ideas, and moments we shared will stay with us for a long time.Held in bustling Shinjuku, the key takeaways were clear: people, purpose, and partnerships.
We came to Tokyo to talk about hybrid threats, health system resilience, One Health, and so much more.
But what will we remember most?
Catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in years.
Finally meeting in person those we’ve only known virtually.
The chats that sparked new ideas, sometimes in sessions, sometimes in elevators, and often over late-night noodles.
Being there as CEMEC meant being part of a global community that believes in science, solidarity, and staying ready for whatever comes next.
A heartfelt thank you to WADEM and everyone who made this congress so memorable.
