Getting Ready Together—Before It Happens
The World Resilient Recovery Conference (WRRC) brought together in Geneva a global community of people committed to ensuring that when disaster strikes, we’re not just reacting, we’re ready.
We at CEMEC were proud to be there, actively engaged in the conversations that matter. The kind of conversations that push us to think bigger, about recovery, yes, but also about dignity, preparedness, and hope.
From rebuilding communities and restoring livelihoods to unlocking funding and strengthening governance, every session reminded us that resilient recovery isn’t just technical. It’s human. It’s about people, trust, and the systems we build together before the crisis.
We left WRRC feeling inspired, challenged, and even more committed to doing our part.
A huge thanks to the International Recovery Platform and all the incredible organizers and speakers. And to everyone we met along the way. Let’s keep building resilience, one step (and one story) at a time.
